Why should plastic items not be dumped into sewers ?

there are many reasons that plastic items should not be dumped into sewers because:-

1)as plastic is not bio degradable so it does not loose its quantities and make water harm to drink

2)plastic could be eaten by some sea animals which will harm them. even that animal before dying can be caught in the nets of fisherman which he will obviously sell. if someone buys and eats that fish so he is also harming himself.

3)plastic also makes some water microorganisms killed by it and it is also a reason in developing big floods.
