when an arrow or a bullet is fired it does not move exactly straight on its path. it follows a projectile as its motion is affected by the force of gravity( the gravity pulls the object downloads) . so when we fire a bullet or an arrow a little above its target, then it follows a projectile to reach its target instead of hitting somewhere below the target.
