Most of the metals reacts when reacts with acids for salt and hydrogen gas. Foodstuffs like oranges,juices,pickles ,chutney or curd etc are not kept in from and aluminium container because they contain acids.

Because:-

==>The foodstufs like orange,juice ,curd,pickles ,chutney should not be kept in iron or aluminium vessels because these substances are acidic in nature. When these are kept in metal vessels (iron or aluminum),they react and form certain toxic salts and hydrogen gas , The consumption of these toxic salts may cause food poisoning. Moreover , the metal vessels get corroded due to reaction with acids.
