why should the VI graph of ohmic resistor pass through origin but this is not the case with non ohmic resistor??

Solution :
(i) The V-I graph for an ohmic meterial is straight line paring through the origin.
Eg: resistor made of margarine
(ii) V-I graph for non- ohmic material is a curve , (ie) non - linear or straight line not passing through origin
eg: junction diode or electrolyte
(i) graph for ohmic material
(ii) graph for non -ohmic material
