Because the constitution is the best solution for a country like India, a diverse and democratic India, whose very existence depends on the acceptance of the rules of the constitution By the citizens of India

It is because no major political group have questioned the legitimacy of the constitution itself.
The constituent assembly represented the people of India.This ensured a fair geographical share of members from all regions of the country .
