Why should we accept the constitution of India made by the constitutent assembly even today

We should accept the constitution made by the constituent assembly even today because of the following reasons :-

i) The constituent assembly was elected mainly by the members of the provincial legislatures. This ensured a fair share of members from all the regions.

ii) Though the assembly was dominated by INC , it included a variety of political groups and opinions.

iii) In social terms, the assembly represented members from different language, castes, religions and occupations.

iv) The manner in which the constituent assembly worked gives sanctity to the constitution.
