Electric wires and metal pipes are great conductors of heat and electricity. therefore during a thunder storm , tge probability of getting an electric shock for touching these objects become more , so we should avoid contact with the electrical wires and metal pipes during a thunder storm .

what is thunderstorm- a strong wind and rain Strom along with thunder ( lightning).
as we know that lightning has great amount of energy with it in form of electric.
so whenever you go to touch a electric wire you might get a shock this is because thunders can be fall down to your roof, electric poles so it will generate great amount of electrical energy and further you are intelligent to understand.
and metal pipes as we know metals are good conductor of electricity so when we gonna touch then again we get a shock and then you celebrate your happy birthday.
