We breathe though our nose and not through our moth because if we breathe through our mouth, the impurities present in the air reaches our lungs. But if we breathe through our nose, the hairs and mucus present in our nose blocks the passage for the impurities and does not allow them to reach our lungs and thus keeps us safe.

We breathe through our nose not mouth because the air that we breathe is not clear ,so we breathe from nose because inside the nose the hair like structure is present(nostrils) which cleans the air while if we breathe from our mouth then the impurity of air can enter through our mouth and can also effect our body.
