nose is the one to breath,of we breath through moth it will take more energy and effort, however we cant always open our mouth and take the oxygen.

Because nostril are smaller than mouth, air exhaled through the nose creates a back flow of air into lungs. And because we exhale more slowly through the nose than we do through mouth, the lungs have more time to extract oxygen from the air we had already taken.

hope this will help you✌

marigoldmk: Nose Breathing Helps Fight Infections

When you breathe in through your nose, the air is warmed, moistened, conditioned and mixed with nitric oxide- which does two important functions- it kills deadly bacteria and works as a vasodilator on the airways, your arteries, and capillaries.
