WE need to maintain the eco-system balance on Earth and atmosphere.  Due to destruction of wild life, the energy and matter (mass/food) flows that take place among the components of eco-system on Earth, will be changed. 

That leads to destruction of atmosphere, soil and could result in loss of quality of life for people and natural catastrophes will occur.  Rains will be affected. Global warming could increase further.
