plastic is non biodegradable . So when we use plastic it does not mix with the soil. It remains as it had before. There are lot of chemicals involved in plastic making and they dissolved in the soil and water too. Plastic get the window to our food and the rest u know,Unknown disease. Use paper bags as of now. Scientists have developed bio degradable , so wait for it.

we should minimize the use of plastic because, in the spite of its importance for our economy, plastic does not biodegrade right away, taking thousands of years to decompose. In addition to occupying valuable landfill space, it pollutes the natural environment and impacts oceans significantly. and the ways we can minimize the use of plastic is by buying less packaged products, or people could start replacing their plastic Tupperware with glass or steel containers. just small things like that to start off with.
