Why should we need to conserve minerals

There are limited minerals in the Earth. We are using them for many purposes, for construction of buildings and roads, for making pieces if jewellery etc. If we use minerals, we must try to use organic minerals, instead of inorganic ones. If we try to discover some way of making things without those resources, it would be better instead of just inventing new things.
