Why should we not put stainless steel spoons in pickle jars

We should not put a stain less steel spoon in a pickle jar because it reacts with the ACIDS in the pickles .It does not react quickly so we can use it but we should not put it in the jar for long time

Answer:we do not put stainless steel spoons in pickle jars because pickles are acid in nature and stainless steel is metal ,being acid pickles can react with metals that is stainless steel spoon. So to avoid corrosion and degradation of spoon we do not keep it in pickle jars
