Why should we not scratch blisters on the skin

Blisters are the slightly raised area on the skin that contains some watery substance.

It can be seen anywhere on leg or arms due to severe burns and rubbing.

When a person rubs off the skin, the upper layer which is very sensitive comes off resulting in the flow of the liquid.

This is the reason that the blisters must not be rubbed as it can catch an infection and worsen the condition.
