a) used tea leaves into sink?
b) cooking oil and fat down the drain? ​

a) we should not throw used tea leaves in the kitchen sink because they reduce the process of degradation by hindering the flow of oxygen.

we should not throw oil and grease in the sink because dehardun after sometime if thrown into drain.

(a) used tea leaves, food remains, soft toys, cotton etc should not be thrown in sink because wastes choke the sink. they do not allow free flow of oxygen to the useful microbes in the sink which decompose the wastes

(b) cooking oils & fats harden and block the pipes, in an open drain, the days block the soil pores reducing its effectiveness in filtering water
