Why should we not throw the following down the drain?
(a) Used tea leaves
(b) Cooking oil and fats down the drain?

used tea leaved should not through in drain as it may block the drain

(a)Used tea leaves may block the mouth of the drain.Which may cause in gushing out of sewage and in the rainy season,flood will occur as the water will not be able to drain out.

(b)The drain sewage will fall into the sea or any other water source.So if we put oil and lipids down the drain it will float on the water and when it will be put out in the sea,the oil will hamper the marine organisms.Example-

Fish-Will not be able to breath.
