To eradicate the biasness and to ensure value laden governance, we should take religion away from politics and state.

Explanation:

  • Religion in politics is a much debated topic. There have been many philosophers who have spoken for and against it. But the modern state is characterized by the exclusion of religion from State and Politics.
  • The reason for exclusion of religion from politics and state is ensure smooth & unbiased governance so that every social and religious community is treated equally and does not feel alienated in the country.
  • So in a modern nation state, the role of religion is separated from its politics to ensure Equality & Fraternity. That's why most of the constitutions are based on the model of Secularism which ensures the presence of heterogenous religious identities living in harmony.
