Coal is a non renewable source of energy, it means that if it's once gone then it's gone forever. It takes millions of years for it to be made. It was created when, millions of years back, due to some natural calamity when large forests were burdened under soil, dust and under high pressure they undergone a no of reactions and finally came out as coal. It is also very polluting so that's better not to use it so much. It's a limited source and will be exhausted soon so if we want to take good advantage of it and let the future generations also enjoy it, then we must use it judiciously.
