Why should we use fuse very carefully

Fuses are temporary meaning once the filament inside melts and disconnects, we have to replace the fuse with a new one. The filament is very light and delicate meaning exposing to very small amount of heat can also melt the filament inside. Therefore, we should handle fuses with care. Now a days circuit breakers are available which are basically normal fuses but reusable and have switches inside.
