Explanation: Natural resources are resources which are found in nature. Examples of natural resources include air ,water, sunlight, wood, coal, etc.

Natural resources can be classified into two groups;

Renewable resources — These resources include air, water, sunlight, wind etc which are replenished naturally. These resources are continuously found in nature and the quantum of these resources do not get affected by human consumption. However there are certain renewable resources which gets depleted due to its over use or consumption. Water is one such example.

Non-renewable resources – These resources include minerals, coal, petroleum which are not readily available in nature and forms slowly. The rate of formation of these resources are very slow.

Hence it is necessary to conserve and use natural resources which are limited in nature, judicially in order to meet the ever growing demand of the population as well as the future generations.
