Common sense is the ability to make connections, a chain of thought, using logic and experience to understand a situation beyond the plainly obvious.

• A lot of common sense is subconscious thought, gut-instinct & intuition. You can develop your "ear" to listen to those voices and learn to trust most of them and learn which ones lead you off-track.
• Remember, gut-instinct & intuition kept our ancestors alive over millennia, and a high price has been paid for its evolution. Use it!
• Lots of education without common sense is pretty useless. Conversely, even without education, common sense will get you far.
• And common sense applies in absolutely every situation. Education, not so much.
