Petroleum, coal and natural gas are the fossil fuels. The Fossil fuels were formed from the dead remains of living organisms millions of years ago.
They cannot be recreated and reformed. Coal and petroleum resources are limited in amount for all that reasons we should use coal and petroleum judiciously.
