why should we use plastic containers instead of metal container for storing the food ?

if use metals to store food, the acids in food react with metals and release harmful gas called hydrogen

Answer: plastic containers are poor conductor of heat, so food stored in it will not hurt us when we hold it, whereas metal containers will transfer the heat. We can easily carry the plastic containers anywhere as we wish but this is not possible in the metal containers because they are heavy weights metals
