because cotton is a good absorber . so it absorb our sweat and evaporate it so we feel cool

when we do not sweat our body is not able to lower down the temperature which makes us feel hot and uncomfortable.

During summers we perspire more due to body mechanism to keep it cool.
Cotton is a good absorber of water or moisture therefore it readily absorbs sweat.
So cotton clothes should be wear in summer.
The evaporation of sweat results in cooling the body skin and thus making us comfortable.
