Why silver does not displace hydrogen from dilute hydrochloric acid?

In the reactivity series, Silver ( Au ) is placed below Hydrogen. This means that Silver is less reactive than Hydrogen. Generally, more reactive metals displace less reactive metals. So, Silver does not displace hydrogen from HCl
