With the establishment of Tori government in Britain, they appointed Sir John Simon to write a constitution for India but surprisingly there was no single Indian involved in its making. ... So, they boycotted Simon commission with black flags when Sir John Simon arrived in India.

Simon Commission was meant for betterment of our country and solving the problems of people of India. But there was no Indian member in the commission added even after the urge of Gandhiji and other Congress leaders. They understood that this commission was no betterment so it was strongly opposed
