Why simply increasing grain production for storage in warehouses cannot solve the problem of malnutrition and hunger ?

Because the enough storage of grains is not enough . All people of the country should be able to get grains at the prices they can afford .

  • It is true that increasing grain production for storage can not solve malnutrition and hunger. this is due to the following reasons;
  • Malnutrition is a disorder brought about by consuming the diet which is not fully balanced. Increasing the grain production does not guarantee for a solution to this problem, because grains are rich in carbohydrates only.
  • Taking in of balanced diet can yield to a solution to this problem.
