why
sin(180-theta)= sin(theta)
but
cos(180-theta)= -cos(theta)
??????
why sin is positive and cos would be negative??

sin(180-theta) = sintheta and cos (180-theta) = - costheta

because 180-theta is second quadrant and in second quadrant sin is positive and cos is negative

180-theta lies in 2nd quadrant

In this perpendicular(y axis) remains positive but base (x axis ) becomes negative…

Sin theta = P/H (+ve) because P is +ve
Cos theta = B/H (-ve) because base is -ve
