Sirajuddullah was the nawab of Bengal. He lost the battle of Plassey because the british commander Robert Clive made the bengal army commander Mir Jafar betray Sirajuddullah. Robert Clive promised Mir jafar to make him the next Nawab after crushing Sirajuddullah.
