Answer:

Never say that Skin is a Tissue.

Skin is an ORGAN, the Largest Organ, of human body.

Skin is made up of Epidermis and Dermis. Epidermis is made up of four layers (five in palms and Soles) which are majorly made up of Epithelial Tissue.

Dermis has two regions, Papillary and Reticular, which are majorly made up of connective tissue and harbours Sweat and Sebaceous glands which are Secretory Epithelial cells.

Hey mate! here's your answer,

Because, The meaning of epithelial tissue means

Epic means - Outer &

Thelium means - Tissue.

Epithelial tissues are present in the skin, lining if mouth, lining of blood vessels, lung alveoli and kidney tubules.

As we discussed in the statement that epithelial tissue means outer cover so the skin protects us and also the epithelial tissue protects skin..

I am absent on that day when sir teaches about epithelial tissue so I am given information up to my knowledge

So hopefully I think that you will compulsory give the thanks and mark as brainlist.
