Why sky color is red in the evening?

Because at that time wavelength is very long as the sun is at horizon and if the wavelength is long it gives red colour and if it is short it gives blue colour as at we the sky blue.....red and blue colour from the topic VIBGYOR

because of the change of direction and angle of the rays of sun

when the sun is setting its rays have to pass thicker layer of atmosphere and only red colour can reach below the atmosphere that is why sky is red in evening.
