Answer:

sunlight is made of seven colours

violet indigo, blue , green, yellow , orange and red

out of these, red has the highest frequency and is scattered the least and violet has lowest frequency and is scattered the most

now according to this idea colour of sky should be violet

but blue light is more in concentration and hence it is scattered the most and gives the sky its colour..

These shorter wavelengths correspond to blue hues, hence why when we look at the sky, we see it blue.
