Gases and particles in Earth's atmosphere scatter sunlight in all directions. Blue light is scattered more than other colors because it travels as shorter, smaller waves. This is why we see a blue sky most of the time.

Answer:

Sky appears blue in colour because when all colours scattered on all directions, blue light scatters more as compared to other colours due to shorter wavelength . That is why sky appears blue in colour.

Hope it helps you ✌️
