Answer:

When a white light (from sun) enters the earth's atmosphere, it gets scattered away due to the atmospheric particles. Since, blue colour has the minimum wavelength, so blue colour scatters the most and thus the sky appears blue.

Hope I made it clear to you

Answer:

Sky is blue because Light from the sun while traveling through Earth's atmosphere gets scattered from large no. of molecules in the atmosphere.

As wavelength of Blue color is roughly half the wavelength of red color, therefore, intensity of scattered blue light is about 2⁴ times, i.e., 16 times more than that of red light. Due to this, blue color dominates and the sky appears blue.
