★ SKY IS BLUE ★

blue colour of sky is due to rayliegh elastic scattering of sunlight light from the sun while travelling through the earth atmosphere get scattered from large number of molecules in the atmosphere which is much less than wavelength of light therefore Rayleigh scattering occurs

as blue colour has the smallest wavelength it is scattered the most that why sky looks blue

>> Because of its high Frequency and low wavelength also our eyes are sensitive towards blue than other colours in a light ( like violet)
