why small bulb is used in tester

Because the small bulb which is actually an LED bulb converts most of the electricity it gets into light and if we use a filament bulb then it will consume very large amount of electricity to light up and we will not be able to detect low voltage currents ....hope it helped u ....Mark as brainliest if u like it

to give us a sign that electricity is flowing or not. in the presence of current the bulb starts glowing.
we use small bulb instead of big bulb coz small bulb requires less electricity than the bigger one.
