why SO2 is acidic in nature​

All nonmetallic oxide are acidic in nature because they react with water to produce corresponding acid.sulphur belongs to non metal and its oxide so2 produce sulphuric acid H2SO4 and react with water. thus, SO2 is acidic in nature.
