Why sodiun put under the kerosene oil

because sodium is very reactive so it's kept in kerosene oil .

Because, SODIUM (Na) reacts vigorously with oxygen  when kept open in the surrounding leading oxidation of Na. Hence, when Na kept in Kerosene does no take part in any chemical reaction i.e it does not react with kerosene instead of keeping it open.
