WHY SOFT IRON CORE IS INSERTED IN A SOLENOID??AS CURRENT CARRING SOLENOID BEHAVE LIKE A BAR MAGNET NO NEED OF SOFT IRON CORE??

we insert a soft iron core inside a solenoid to increase the magnetic field . Soft iron core is a piece of iron having electrons in it provide a medium to the electromagnetic waves which produce when current is pass from the solenoid.

If we use solenoid without inserting soft iron core it will work but having less magnetic force.
