Soil is a vital part of our natural environment. It influences the distribution of plants, species and land. It is because of the soil that one can plant trees for a greener environment. It controls the flow of water and the chemical substances between the atmosphere and the earth, and is taken as a source and as well as a store house of gases like Oxygen and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. They are a medium of plant growth as the plants are really important for survival. Its a habitat for many insects and animals. It also acts like filtration system for ground water. These prove us the importance of soil for us.
