Why solid have high density than liquid

due to intermolecular forces between particles.
molecules in solid are nearer to each other while in liquid distance between particles are greater than in liquid.

Here is yr answer.....

Solid haves the high density than liquid....

Cuz, The molecules in solids are tightly packed..... whereas in liquids... somewhat loosely packed!

The density of substances depends on the arrangement of molecules!!

So, the solid haves the higher density than liquid... bcoz of the arrangement of molecules!
