why solid liquid and gas differ in there physical state

Heya Mate.....

Change in physical state of solid, liquid and gases occurs due to difference in intermolecular forces of attraction between each of them.

As a result, molecules are closer to each and thus,solids have fixed shaped. In liquids, molecules have less intermolecular forces of attraction as compared to solids.
