solids are rigid because particles of solid has greater force of attraction due to which they get fix shape and volume but liquids and gas particles has less force of attraction

solids are rigid because its particals are tightly packed and due to this the force of attraction is also very high

liquids and gasses are fluids becoz thier particles are loosley packed and the can take the shape of any container due to this property
