Solitary Loon means Lonely water bird....There in the poem it is the frog being referred as the solitary loon..He was Solitary 'cause everyone else were enraptured by Nightingale's song and he was the only one to envy her song..Here in the poem,the Frog's weeping is because of jealous.He is a hypocrite.Loon h the poet
