Why solution of sugar in water doesn't conduct electricity whereas that of common salt in water does??

because .. sugar is not having .any ion .. so it can't conduct. . in sugar there is .. covelant bonding ..which can give ion .. so no . conduct electricity while other salt like nacl having ion....

THIS IS BECAUSE THE SUGAR IS COVALENT . SO IT HAS NO ION ....BUT COMMON SALT MEANS NaCl HAS GAVE Na+ AND Cl- IN WATER ....SO IT CONDUCT ELECTRICITY BECOZ IT HAS IONS ..
