Why some formal Letters have from (sender's address) and to (receiver's address)? Sometimes in exams teacher don't give us the sender's and receiver's address, just to check our knowledge means if they will not give us the to and from then what will that child will write.Instead of that you have to write an imagnary address or "ABC" or "XZY" address and in brackets you have to write (sender's address) and (receiver's address).

1] Formal letter :-
