Our voluntary muscles are controlled by spinal nerves that connect the muscles to the brain. The motor part of the brain gives a command to move a certain way and the muscles will do it exactly how you want it. Sensory nerves collect in the sensory cortex of the brain where you feel the position of the muscle an whether or not there is any pain.

However, your internal organs are hooked up to the vegetative nervous system that consists of the parasympathetic nerves and the sympathetic nerves. This part of the nervous system is outside of our control. But you are way too busy to be bothered about how much blood should be sent to a certain organ. This is all done for you automatically. From time to time you may feel pain in one of the organs when something is out of sorts. This is the time you should see your physician. But generally speaking our nervous systems work quite well.
