During the rainy season the moisture level in the atmospheric air increases then the normal moisture level in the atmosphere. And the detergent molecules cannot absorb and retain the water molecules. That's why the detergent powder become moist and slimy in the rainy seasons.

some kind of of abrasive detergents contains high amount of calcium chloride and calcite and also contain chloride derivates of cyanaruic acid .These compounds cannot hold moisture and moisture and humidity in the atmosphere is high and thus these types of detergent it becomes moist.
