Some living organisms have to perform anaerobic respiration as they cannot breath in air or they live in oxygen-less enviroment.

Anaerobic essentially means “without air”.
Hence, this sort of cellular respiration does not make use of oxygen to create energy.
Anaerobic respiration generally takes place in microorganisms and lower plants because they do not have advanced respiratory organs.
Also, at times there may not be enough oxygen present for some organisms to breathe, but they need energy to remain alive.
Hence, when oxygen is not present, the glucose which is obtained from food is then broken down into carbon dioxide and alcohol together with the formation of energy. i.e., Glucose → Carbon dioxide +Alcohol + Energy.
