why some of the D block elements are called as transition elements and some are not???
give appropriate reason for ur answer???

The elements in groups 1B through 8B (also known as 3 through 12) arecalled the transition metals. Sometimes this block of elements are referred to as the d block. They arecalled d block elements because the electrons being added in this block ofelements are being added to the dorbitals.

some of the D block elements are not called as Transition Element because they have either fully filled orbitals therefore they are considered as deep transition elements for example copper etc.. and which one do not have fully filled electron in their D orbital are considered as Transition Element hope you got the answer
